Grayscale Monitor Calibration
Permission is given to download this 16 step grayscale strip and distribute it provided it is not altered: do not save it with a lower compression; do not adjust the color; do not remove or change the text.
To use the 16 step grayscale strip to adjust your monitor:
Ambient lighting should be as it typically would be.
Reduce any colors in your vision, whether displayed on the monitor or surrounding it.
Adjust your contrast, brightness and tint adjustments so that you can see every step of the strip and so the strip is a neutral gray.
