Stock image of the horse sculpture of the champion thoroughbred race horse named Lexington. Lexington lived from 1850 to 1875 and was considered the best race horse of his day in winning 6 out of 7 four mile races he entered. He also became the most successful sire in the United States during the second half of the nineteenth Century. Lexington was part of the first group of horses inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 1955. This sculpture is at Thoroughbred Park in Lexington Kentucky USA.
