Germany, Rhineland-Palatinate, Boppard, 2006-October-10: Image of grapevines in the "Bopparder Hamm" wine-growing region on the banks of the Rhine river. The "Bopparder Hamm" is the largest wine-growing region within the Middle-Rhine Valley, for the most part planted with Riesling grapes. In the year 2002 the UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) designated the Middle-Rhine Valley between Bingen and Koblenz as a world heritage region.
