A man in victorian costume leads a heavy horse with a border collie dog riding on its back. The horse is towing a large narrow boat or barge along a canal. The barge is out of shot. The banks are verdant with late spring growth of tall grass and cow parsley, the horse walks along a gravelled towpath. The barge is one of only five in operation under horse power in the UK and is a tourist attraction. The crew dress as traditional Victorian bargees.
