Poster Art-Print Description:
Stock photograph of a ruined stone building with a tall leaning chimney which used to house a beam engine used to pump water from the Wheal Betsy mine workings. The building is set against the background of open moorland with sheep grazing in the distance. The heather and gorse show the subdued colours of winter. The roofless building is a relic from when the mining of tin copper and arsenic needed for the industrial revolution made West Devon and the Tamar Valley the richest region in the world.
