This is a photograph of one of Karen Ramstead's dogs taking a rest after arriving at the Rainy Pass check point of the 2007 Iditarod. Ramstead breeds purebread siberian huskies for her teams. Most Iditarod dogs are a mix of siberian husky and other mixes of breeds such as blue heeler, australian shepard, border collie, german shepard, and even labrador retriever.
