This is black and white photograph of a dog musher and his dog team coming into fthe rainy pass checkpoint at the 2007 Iditarod. The Iditarod is a wilderness dog mushing race over 1150 miles that begins near anchorage and ends in Nome Alaska. Mushers feed and care their dogs the entire way. The iditarod is also called the last great race.
