Stock Photo Description: One of the many large rock formations that stand on and just below the top of a hill in 'The Peak District' in Derbyshire, England.On reaching the top of the hill, and by standing on the rocks there, a stunning vista unfolds to reveal the landscape for miles around.The stone is made of limestone type call millstone grit. Millstones were actually hewn from the rock here and many still stand, littered about the hillside. The image was captured on 21st October 2006.
