Stock Photo Description: On an vacation in upper state New York, we discovered that one of our trips highlights was a lake cruise on Alexandria Bay in the Thousand Island Seaway region. What an amazing, relaxing couple of hours. There were literally "thousands" of islands, though we saw only a few dozen ourselves. . This little island has half on the Canadian side and half on the American. A VERY short international bridge allows one to travel easily to the other country. You can see by the national flags on the bridge that Canada is on the left and America is on the right. How come we got the smaller piece?
