Winter Meets Fall in This Colorful and Snowy Mountain Scene.
Stock Photo Description: The Alpine Loop in American Fork canyon near Orem, Utah is a beautiful place to take a drive, or a hike, during the autumn. This is Mount Timpanogos, famous locally for its' touring cave after a short, but steep, mile or so hike to the top. I was lucky enough to arrive on a day when the season's first snow for the higher altitudes had occurred overnight. So not only did I get what I came for, the fall colors, but I got the snow-covered pines as well. The clouds ascended just in time to reveal their handywork for my camera.
