Stock Photo Description: This is a photograph of two veterinarians walking back to the base cabinn at sunrise at the rainy pass check point during the 2007 Iditarod. Temperatures in the early morning were -40 below with wind chill. The vets had to give check ups to all dog teams all night long so sunrise was welcome. It warmed up to about -25 below during the day.
