Williams, NASA International Space Station flight engineer and science officer, began their mission Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. EST, (Thursday, March 30, 2006, 8:30 a.m. Kazakhstan time). They launched aboard a Soyuz rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
