Stock Photo Description: This is a stock image of Dahlia Grace Wulff. This variety was originated by John Zatkovich, who was the consummate Dahlia Society Leader. He was in to everything, and did a lot for the Michigan Dahlia Association. He was also a good propagator and had many originations. Most of these had a "Z" in their name, like Mary Karen Z and Barbara Z. However, John had a lot of respect for Dr. Wulff, who was a professor at Michigan State and had an American Dahlia Society Trial Garden in Lansing. He was also a very strict Dahlia judge and had the job of training and certifying all of the new judges. Grace was his wife, and John Zatkovich decided to honor them both by naming one of his originations after her.
