Stock Photo Description: The Alvord desert in Southeast Oregon is a unique place. The flat playa fills with water every spring covering 20 square miles but only inches deep. I was standing in the middle of the lake on this day, just watching the clouds go by, capturing their reflections in the vast pool. Very peaceful, almost surreal image. Textures of the lake bottom are noticed beneath the reflections.
