Stock Photo Description: Cape Disappointment Lighthouse in November after a big storm. The lighthouse is so named because of the number of lost ships on the Columbia Bar, and judging by the size of the waves on this particular day, one could see where a ship might get in trouble. Here the waves crashed against the cliff and came back out to meet another wave, causing a new huge wave to pop up in the middle before reaching the cliff.
