Stock Photo Description: Female Goldenrod Crab Spider waits on an Iris plant for passing insects to eat. This spider often hides inside yellow flowers to ambush bees and other flying insects attempting to polinate the flower. This common spider can change it's body color to white if it moves to a patch of blue or white flowers. The color change can take up to a week to complete.
