Stock Photo Description: PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 24, 2008) Aviation Boatswains Mate (Handling) 2nd Class Diego Salvador, from Miami, directs an F/A-18C Hornet, assigned to the "Stingers" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 113, to a bow catapult for a final flight off the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). All fixed winged aircraft assigned to Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 14 departed Ronald Reagan to return to homeport after a six-month deployment, aiding in Operation Enduring Freedom, an operation which gave support to ground troops in Afghanistan.
